  • About Dandong International Ferry Co., Ltd.
    • Since its maiden voyage on July 24, 1998, Dandong International Ferry has been providing passenger and cargo services between Incheon and Dandong. We operate an 11,000-ton class passenger ship, equipped with rolling prevention and transverse propulsion devices, ensuring the highest level of safety for passengers and accuracy for cargo transportation. Located along the mouth of the Yalu River in southeastern Liaoning Province, China, Dandong is a multi-functional international city serving the commercial trade, tourism, finance and processing industries. Adjacent to Shenyang to the north and Dalian to the south, it is home to about 2.82 million people (653,000 people in urban areas), including 35,000 ethnic Koreans, while the Manchu ethnic group accounts for 32% of its total population. The direct distance from the city to Incheon Port is about 454 km. We operate our ferry service three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).

      Located on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the main ship, this cabin is suitable for family travel. It sleeps 4 people per room, has a bunk bed structure, and is equipped with a TV, sofa, and bathroom.   • About Dandong Tourism
    • Baekdusan Mountain
      Baekdusan Mountain is located in Sanchiyuan County, Yangjiang Province. Baekdusan Mountain, which was created million years ago by volcanic activity, is 2,750 meters above sea level and the highest peak on the Korean Peninsula. The Yalu river and the Tumen River, the longest rivers in Korean Peninsula flow into the West Sea and East Sea. In China, Baekdusan Mountain was referred to as Changbai Mountain. The Jurchen people held ancestral rites in the Jin and Qing Dynasties, believing that the mountain was the birthplace of their ancestors. But most of all, Baekdusan Mountain has been home to the founding myth of Korea, and is the eternal holy mountain of the Korean people.
    • Heaven Lake
      Heaven Lake(Cheonji), designated as Natural Monument No. 351, is a lake containing water in the crater of Baekdusan Mountain. It has total area of 9.17 square kilometers, circumference of 14.4 kilometers, the maximum diameter of 4.64 kilometers, and the maximum depth of 384 meters. The Heaven Lake(Cheonji) is composed of underground water (30%) and rain water(70%) from the three springs, and the water quality is good enough to drink.
    • Jian, Liaoning
      You can get to the city of Tonghua, Liaoning province by night train from Shenyang or by air from Beijing. Tonghua is a key transportation hub for sightseeing in Jian, which takes about four hours by bus to get to Jian. Visitors can see the life of North Korea along the border of the Yalu River, and Goguryeo cultural heritages in Jian.
    • Fenghuang Mountain
      Fenghuang Mountain is 57 kilometers away from Dandong and has a total area of 216 square kilometers. Zanyunfeng, the highest peak, has an altitude of 836 meters. It is one of the four greatest mountains in Liaoning Province. Since the phoenix appeared in this mountain during the reign of Emperor Shun in ancient China, there is a saying that phoenixes appear every time when a wise ruler appears.
    • Wulongbei Hot Spring
      Wulongbei Hot Spring is located 25 kilometers away from Dandong. It has been developed and used about 100 years ago. The hot springs have a maximum temperature of 75°C and are known as good medical effects.
    • Yalu River Bridge
      The Yalu River Bridge is 946 meters long and was constructed in 1931. Roads and railroads on the bridge function as a major trasportation between Dandong and North Korea.
