  • About Weidong Ferry Co., Ltd.
    • Weidong Ferry launched the first car ferry route between Korea and China on September 15, 1990. Today, we operate round-trip services between Incheon and Weihai and Incheon and Qingdao three times a week. Owning and operating two of Korea's best 30,000-ton ferry ships, the New Golden Bridge VII and the New Golden Bridge V, we provide a comfortable and romantic cruise for passengers.       The Business Class is located on the 5th floor and is a family-friendly cabin with double-deck beds, a TV and refrigerator. If you are travelling with 3 or less passengers, you will be assigned a cabin separated by gender.

      Located on the 5th and 6th floors, Economy Class offers two room types : Room with beds (for 8 people) and Room with tatami(for 26 people), which is affordable for student backpacking and group training trips.

  • About Weihai Tourism
    • Liugongdao Scenic site
      Liugongdao is a small island floating on the 2km off the coast of Weihai. Jiawu Zhanzheng Museum(Chinese-Japanese War Museum) is located on the island, where relevant materials and models of the Beiyang Fleet are displayed.
    • Fa hua yuan
      It was the place where maritime trade Shilla and Tang had started for the first time. There are monuments erected by the Korean Shipowners’ Association and SEK(Sea Explorers of Korea) the Maritime Boys' Association, as well as Jang Bogo Monument inscribed with president Kim Yong-sam's emblem.
    • Chengshantou Scenic Area
      Located in the easternmost part of China, this seaside park has a similar atmosphere to the Taejongdae Park in Busan, Korea. There are statues of the Emperor Qin Shihuang with the legend that Emperor launched ships here to find elixir plants.

    • The Yellow River
      It is the second river in China that flows from the west to the east, with a length of 5,464 km and a basin area of 752,443 ㎢. The Yellow River flows along the outskirts of the Jinan city, with a large amount of mud contained in the water.

      In Jinan, which was named ‘The City of Spring’, Baotu Spring is considered to be the best out of 72 springs in the city and is the third scenic place in Jinan. With a history of more than 2,600 years, Baotu Spring is said to have risen from the warring stated period in ancient China, and is made from groundwater with great pressure underground.

      Shandong Museum offers a variety of attractions, including prehistoric earthenware, dinosaur fossils, ceramics from the Ming and Qing Dynasty and stuffed animal exhibit halls.
    • Qianfo Hill Scenic Area
      Qianfo Hill is located in the southern Jinan and has an altitude of 285 meters. During the Tang Dynasty, the Temple of Qianfo was built and the Hill was named after the temple. There are more than 1,000 stone and Buddha statues carved on the side of the mountain.

    • Temple of Confucius, Qufu
      The temple was established in the first year after Confucius' death, where Confucius' ancestral rite is performed every year. The Dachengdian (Shirne) is known for the one of china's three largest palaces, along with Gugong in Bejing and Dai Temple in Taishan.
    • Kongfu
      The residence and government office of the descendants of Confucius is Kongfu. It was built in the Song Dynasty and was rebuilt several times before being made into a large-scale in Qing Dynasty. The Kongfu was a typical feudal family’s garden with a grand and ornate building with 436 rooms.
    • Konglin
      It is located 1.5km to the north of Qufu, where Confucius and its descendants' graves are gathered. There is a family tomb of the Confucius in a vast forest area of 20 Ha. There are about 20,000 old trees in the Konglin.

      Mount Tai, one of the five most famous mountains in China, is located near Taian. From the days of the primitive clan to the feudal era, Mount Tai was s a sacred place where the emperor performed rituals.
    • Dai Temple
      Ancient emperors performed rituals to the God of Mount Tai in the Dai Temple. It is the largest temple in the Tang and Song Dynasty with a total area of 9.6 million square meters.

    • Mengfu
      Meng temple, Mengfu and Menglin is located in Zoucheng, 25km away from the center of Qufu. In Zoucheng, whichi is Mencius’ hometown, a family tomb of the Mencius was built in the Song Dynasty.
